For consultants

Send engagement letters that close themselves.

PropCraft is the proposal tool consultants use to send a branded engagement letter as a public link. The client reads it on any device, you see which scope sections they linger on, and the signature plus deposit happen on the same screen through Stripe Connect. Flat 19 USD per workspace per month, free for three proposals.

Why it’s broken today

The proposal stage is the bottleneck.

Scope ambiguity is where engagements die

The pricing table block forces a line-by-line breakdown. The checklist block makes deliverables explicit. The timeline block sets the cadence. Less ambiguity, fewer surprises.

Engagement letters drift across three tools

PropCraft replaces "write in Word + e-sign in DocuSign + invoice in QuickBooks" with one link that does all three.

Stakeholders read different sections

Section-level tracking shows you when the CFO opened the proposal versus when the head of strategy did. Multi-stakeholder selling becomes legible.

What changes with PropCraft

One link covers the whole closing loop.

A clear engagement structure in 20 minutes

Start from the consulting template, swap the deliverables and the pricing, and the cover page, team page, timeline, and FAQ are already there.

See exactly when the client reviewed each section

You walk into the kickoff knowing which sections the client cared about and which they skimmed. The first meeting is shorter.

Collect retainer plus expenses through Stripe

Deposit, full amount, or a percentage. Funds clear directly to your account. No invoicing tool needed for the first payment.

Frequently asked

PropCraft for consultants, in detail

  • Can I get a counter-signed version of the engagement letter?
Yes. After the client signs, PropCraft auto-generates a signed PDF with both signature fields filled, the typed names, the IP addresses, and the timestamps. It is emailed to both parties and stored on the proposal forever.
  • Does PropCraft handle multi-party signing?
Not today. PropCraft is one-signer-per-proposal. If your engagements need multi-party signing with explicit order, a dedicated e-sign tool (PandaDoc, DocuSign) is a better fit for that part of the workflow.
  • Can I bill in arrears for a consulting engagement?
Yes. Disable the payment block on the proposal and use the signature alone to lock in the agreement. Then bill the client through your usual invoicing channel after each milestone. PropCraft is signature-plus-deposit-optional, not signature-and-payment-mandatory.
  • Is the signed proposal admissible in court?
The signature flow is ESIGN Act compatible for US-based agreements and eIDAS compatible for EU-based agreements. The audit trail captures the typed name, IP address, and timestamp. For high-value engagements where the engagement letter itself is the master agreement, consult your lawyer; most consulting engagements use the proposal as the agreement.
